not sure why unicorns were such a fixture on tumblrs and blogspots of the 2010's (revival of 90's-era lisa frank? nostalgia for childhood fantasies?), but I'm not mad about it. my mundane life could certainly use a little more magic in it, and if that's acquired by looking at unicorn photos on tumblr, then so be it.
