Todd Fisher is a street photographer from NYC whose work reminds me of older mid-century photographers, like Lisette Model and Nan Goldin, but with a fresher, more modern lens fit for 2000's-2010's NYC. I don't want to reduce his work to just indie sleaze—his portfolio covers much more than it girls and fashionable parties—but it's hard to separate that aesthetic from the gritty NYC scene which he candidly captured.
