Remember staying up late on your laptop for the first time at the age of 13 and feeling absolutely invincible as you scroll on tumblr and weheartit, giddy and restless from the sleep deprivation and from all of the media you were consuming?  I do, and I miss that feeling.  Now that I'm an adult and can do whatever the fuck I want, staying up late on tumblr feels less exciting and more pathetic.  But I still crave that feeling of bright eyed-ness at the world I was discovering online in my early teens, and this is my best attempt to capture how it felt:

My unintentional and accidental hiatus has finally come to a close.  To make a very long story short, I was dealing with some pretty extreme health issues (including an intolerance to my laptop and phone screen) that resulted in me being a. unanble to look at my phone for ~6 months and b. involuntarily committed to a mental hospital (that's a story for another time). 

But all of that is water under the bridge now I'm finally able to use my laptop and make my return to blogging and internet archiving.  I have missed posting on here very much, and I am very glad to be back, hopefully permanently this time.
