I really love this post from shelefthermindbehind.blogspot.com because it feels soooo emblematic of what social media was like in the year 2912. As an 8th grader during this time and a voracious consumer of tumblr, instagram, and we heart it, a lot of these images look very familiar. The mix of low quality (and overly filtered) instagram photos with aesthetic tumblr images and high fashion editorials is a vibe that I don't really see replicated anymore—a perfect mix of glamour and casual we can only strive to replicate:
